Not Quite Light

Invited by Lumen London to participate in a light festival held in the iconic St Philips Church, Salford, Manchester. I exhibited two VRTX pieces side by side for the first time, in a wooden alter, the varnished wood reflected the light from VRTX, and a band played lucid progressive rock through the opening.

Art No.23 - Vibrant.

One of my favourite installs, in the Biscuit factory, Bermondsey, London. I had a room which I blacked out and installed ‘VRTX 0.2’ this version could only be viewed through a door window, obscuring the viewers understanding of the piece. creating a boundary between the audience and the VRTX excelled its mysticism massively.

Liminal - Conspiracies

2018 – Conspiracies. Lewisham Art House, Lewisham. London.

Group show with the original Liminal crew I did my first exhibit with after graduating. A of mixed media artists, all works showing a subversion from reality and the mundane. I Presented ‘VRTX 0.1’ and ‘Ditch’ a large scale perspective drawing.

Downtown 500 - No it’s not, not always.

2018 – No it’s not, Not always. By other means gallery, Bethnal Green. London

Teaming up with LGBT magazine Downtown 500, I we showed people there’s more than one perspective in life, the Downtown 500 crew showed you a culture you don’t see in the mainstream, and I showed you there more perceptions of reality within your own. We created a metamodernist exhibition consisting of artworks, photographs, and performances.

Lumen - Atina residency show

The first time people saw VRTXultra, it happened in the crypt of St. Johns Church, in Bethnal Green, London.

This show followed up on the work we made on the Atina residency, however we were back home now, where I wasn’t limited to the equipment I brought with me, so I made a VRTX open in time and space, it was ultra, and you could hear its sound for the first time.
