Mountains have always been prominent in my life, so it felt like a natural place to begin translating my art practice into design pieces. This mountain named Damavand is stratovolcano that resides in Iran’s Alborz region.

I produce the mountain tumbler with the great Novotny glass studio in Novy Bor, up in the northern landscapes of Czech Republic, a long time home of master glass blowing.
